The Spartans traveled to face division leader Rochester on Saturday. The Spartans were unable to mount much offense as they fell 91-53. With the loss the Spartans are now 8-17 overall and 2-10 against MCAC Southern Division teams.
The Spartans shot 38% from the field and 21% from behind the arc. Nic Pearson lead the Spartans with 16 points. Zakaria Zaid pulled down five rebounds.
The Spartans will finish the season at home with two games remaining. The Spartans will host St. Cloud Tech on Wednesday. Opening tip is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
