Spartans fall to Ridgewater in first game of double header 14-13

The M State baseball team suffered a pair of road losses in Willmar on Wednesday.  The Ridgewater Warriors won a 14-13 slugfest in the first game of their double header. 

Ridgewater got a walk-off single from Sam Etterman in the bottom of the seventh inning to win game one.  Ridgewater had 17 hits in the contest, with Etterman going 4-for-6 at the plate.

Beau Fetting (2-5, RBI, 2R) homered and Jackson Martin (2-4, 3RBI) had a pair of doubles to lead the Spartans 12-hit attack.  Logan Pulju (2-5, 2B, 2RBI, 2R), Eoghan Fisher (2-4, 2RBI), Fetting and Martin all had two hits in the game.  Ian Stanton delivered a run-scoring double in four at bats.
