The M State lady Spartans won for a fourth time in their last five games when they defeated Fon du Lac Tribal and Community College 67-43 on Friday night in Cloquet. M State had a 49-36 advantage on the boards and hit 37.6% (29-77) of their field goal attempts. They also made 35.2% (6-17) of their 3's. They also forced 23 Fon du Lac turnovers on the night.
Emily Dehler had a huge game for the lady Spartans with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 steals. Ashley Dreger had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, and Itzel Salazar finished with 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Hailey Nelson and Keely Foley each contributed 5 points and 8 rebounds. Nelson distributed 4 assists and Foley had 3.
