The Spartans were able to snap a five game losing streak. The Spartans took down Western Techincal College 75-64. It marks the second time this season the Spartans have defeated them. With the win the Spartans are now 8-13 overall and 2-6 against MCAC Southern Division teams.
The Spartans shot 48% from the field and 37% from behind the arc. James Hobson led the Spartans with 19 points. Alex Hendricks finished right behind him with 18 points. Renell Edwards lead the team in rebounding with seven. Hobson and Edwards each dished out five assists.
The Spartans will continue their road trip as they take on Anoka - Ramsey Community College on Wednesday. Opening tip is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
