#4 Spartans Bounce Back With Win Over Cobber JV
The #4 Spartan volleyball team bounced back from a loss on Friday to sweep host Concordia College JV 3-0 on Saturday. The Spartans took the three sets by scores of 26-24, 25-18, and 25-19. The win brings the Spartans season record to 16-3.
Leading the way for the Spartans offensively was Katherine Mastey with 10 kills. Alexa Mortenson added 8 kills followed by Taylor Berndt with 7 kills. Sydney Hovland had double digit assist and digs agian with 27 assists and 12 digs. Bailey Marty and Berndt led the team with 23 digs each. Sierra Jenson added 21 digs as well.
The Spartans team will return to action this Wednesday as they travel St. Cloud to take on St. Cloud Tech. Opening serve is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
